Tree & Shrub Care

Degree Lawn & Landscape provides Ornamental Tree & Shrub care that is designed to ensure that your plants are performing and are in optimum health. Our service is implemented by strictly following the INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT approach. Keeping damaging insect and disease populations to a minimum while maintaining environmental stewardship is the key to a beautiful landscape.

At Degree Lawn & Landscape, we understand how important and valuable your ornamental landscape is to you. All landscapes are different and therefore need to be treated differently. As a matter of fact, one landscape can have several sections that need to be treated differently. This can depend on plant varieties, maintenance practices, and micro-environments. These variables can even change season to season! The most important facet of a tree and shrub care program when adhering to integrated pest management strategies is the knowledge of the plants that you are working with and what maladies to look for.

Scouting and correct diagnostics are essential for a tree and shrub health plan to be successful. Careless spraying of insecticides, fungicides, and bactericides is unjust to the consumer and the environment. Degree Lawn & Landscape implements an on-going training program that ensures our ornamental tree and shrub technicians are always up to date on the current maladies, newest products, and best application techniques.

When a Degree Lawn & Landscape ornamental tree and shrub technician arrives on site they do not just start with the application. The technician is trained to do a meticulous scout of the landscape to determine the appropriate action to be taken. Though this step is timely, it ensures that only the damaging pest is targeted and beneficial insects and organisms are left unharmed. Disruption of healthy ecosystems is unacceptable! Our professional ornamental tree and shrub program is as follows:

Round 1) Dormant Season Horticulture Oil
